Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the much-anticipated facelift of the Tata Altroz on May 22, 2025, marking the model’s most extensive update since its debut in 2020. The Altroz facelift will bring a host of cosmetic and feature upgrades, elevating its premium positioning in the competitive hatchback segment.

The refreshed Altroz will continue to rival the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and Toyota Glanza, offering buyers a compelling choice with new features and updated design enhancements.

Tata Altroz Facelift: Expected Design and Feature Upgrades

The Tata Altroz facelift is expected to retain its signature silhouette while receiving updated styling cues. Changes will likely include:

• Revised front grille and sharper headlamps

• Tweaked front and rear bumpers

• Redesigned LED taillights

Inside, the cabin is anticipated to see significant improvements with a larger touchscreen infotainment system featuring a new user interface, updated air-con vents, new dashboard design, and more upmarket seat upholstery.

• 1.2-litre Turbocharged Petrol Engine

• 1.5-litre Diesel Engine (unique in its segment)

• Twin-cylinder CNG variant paired with the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine

Transmission options will likely include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, and DCT automatic, depending on the selected variant.

Tata Altroz Facelift: Pricing and Upcoming Launches

Tata Motors may introduce a marginal price hike for the Altroz facelift given the extensive upgrades. Besides the facelift, the automaker is preparing for a series of major launches this year, including the Harrier EV and the all-new Tata Sierra ICE and EV models, showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
