This initiative, in collaboration with the Office of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications and the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), aims to celebrate the country's technological journey and showcase its achievements in the past, present, and future.
This launch coincides with UAE Codes Day , marking the 24th anniversary of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s launch of the region's first e-government on 29 October 2001, a significant milestone that catalysed the country’s digital transformation.

The challenge is open to all UAE residents who wish to contribute to the UAE’s vision for a future based on technology, AI, and innovation. Participants will create their designs using generative AI tools, ensuring a circular format suitable for minting and complying with ethical and legal standards. The winning design will be featured on an official commemorative coin issued by the Central Bank of the UAE.
The winner will be announced during the UAE Codes 2025 events. Interested participants can submit their designs via its official platform
