More than a month has passed since Ranveer Allahbadia’s controversial ‘obscene’ comments on Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent show sparked widespread outrage. Following his arrest and subsequent bail granted by the Supreme Court, the podcaster has now spoken candidly about the emotional challenges he faced throughout the ordeal.
About Mental Fitness and Emotional Turmoil
He shared a glimpse of his daily life and wrote, "Been speaking about 'mental fitness' for years. Mental fitness : The ability to be ready for battling storms that life WILL send your way. Currently, I'm not allowed to speak about everything that happened. The matter is still in the Supreme Court and I wish to respect the authorities' process. All I can do is share the emotional side of what happened. It's been immensely difficult. This was the greatest test that life threw my way. There were many days I broke down in private. This was as far as my heart's been pushed. Not an easy world when you choose to grow in public. When life wishes to transform you greatly, it will impose its greatest tests upon your mind..."

Importance of Support
"Mental health is already a battle for so many of us. And while therapy & educative content are great... I hope more people learn the value of mental FITNESS. Mental fitness : The ability to be ready for phases of bad mental health. Just glad I spent years creating content around these topics. Because as they say... the content creator becomes the content they've created. Even on the worst of days, I had : - Friends & family. - Fitness & flexibility. - Quality sleep. - (sometimes false) Hope in my heart. Hope younger folks witness what happened. Hope they know that it was tough as hell. Hope they know that it can all be overcome! But the key is : Focus on yourself during the best phases of life. Prioritise : Health, family & close friends. Learn how to stretch & meditate. Learn to be hopeful in a world that glorifies gloom. Stay strong, take your routines seriously & keep your inner light alive, always", he further added.
Legal Fallout from Controversial Remarks
Ranveer Allahbadia received several FIRs following his ‘obscene’ comment, “watch your parents have **x,” made during Samay Raina’s India’s Got Latent. Alongside him, four other judges—Samay Raina, Apoorva Mukhija, Ashish Chanchlani, and others—also faced legal action for their remarks on the show.
Supreme Court’s Interim Orders
On February 19, the Supreme Court told Ranveer Allahbadia to stop airing any shows on YouTube or other audio and video platforms until they say otherwise. The court also paused any new police cases against him, temporarily banned his podcasts, and stopped him from traveling abroad for now.
Podcast Resumption
On March 3, the Supreme Court allowed YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia to start his podcast, The Ranveer Show, again on YouTube. The judges said he must keep his content clean and not talk about the ongoing legal case.
