The annual Fortnitemares event is in full swing following the release of update 37.50 on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, PC and mobile.
The new Fortnitemares event adds Doja Cat to the game courtesy of a couple of new bundles available from the Item Store today.
Fortnite fans can also check out a new Fortnite Reload map from October 10, complete with creepy locations such as Terror Turrets, Haunted Hamlet and Spooky Suburbs.
However, the real highlight of the event is the introduction of countless crossover characters coming to Fortnitemares in the coming weeks.
According to the release schedule, Ghostface from Scream will join the game as part of the Item Shop refresh on October 10, or 1am BST on October 11 if you're living in the UK.
Shaggy and Scooby Doo skins/items will join the Item Shop on October 11 for US fans and October 12 for UK customers.
The Halloween collaborations continue on October 16, when the masked villain from The Black Phone comes to Fortnite. That's October 17 in the UK.
This will be followed by the addition of a true horror icon, as Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th joins Fortnite on October 17 (USA)/ October 18 (UK).
The rest of the gang from Scooby Doo will be added to the item shop on October 18 in the US and October 19 in the UK.
All of the new Fortnitemare skins will be accompanied by various items, including Backbling, Gliders, loading screens, emotes and more.
Unfortunately, there are still a selection of Halloween-themed crossovers without a release date.
As part of the Fortnitemares event, Epic Games will add Art the Clown from The Terrifier, characters from co-op horror game R.E.P.O and Poppy Playtime.
Wednesday Adams is also coming to Fortnite as part of the Fortnitemares event.
