Fans of The Celebrity Traitors were left scratching their heads as they questioned why the BBC series' final wasn't airing on Wednesday night.
After a month of thrilling action in the Scottish Highlands, only five contestants remain in the Claudia Winkleman-hosted series.
Comedian Alan Carr and singer Cat Burns are representing the traitors, with just one more day of gruelling interrogation standing between them and a potential £100,000 for their chosen charities.
Their journey to the final has been nothing short of exciting, with ITV presenter Jonathan Ross joining them in the turret before his untimely elimination.
However, despite their best efforts, they could walk away empty-handed, especially after Alan chuckled when asked by Claudia last week to declare his loyalty in front of the group, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Viewers have also noted that Kate Garraway's banishment last week might cast suspicion on Cat, who is now the only woman left in the game.
On the other side, faithfuls Joe Marler, Ted Lasso actor Nick Mohammed and historian David Olusoga are hot on their heels.
Ex-rugby star Joe has sussed out Cat and Alan's true identities and shared his suspicions with Nick, whom he has grown close to and formed an alliance with during their time in the castle.
They're now working on convincing David, who remains sceptical of Nick due to a past challenge, to join them in their suspicions.
Devoted followers of the programme understand that the finale is notoriously unpredictable, leaving it uncertain whether the traitors or the faithfuls will emerge triumphant in this inaugural celebrity edition.
Launching last month, episodes have been broadcast on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. This represents a departure from the usual schedule, with the civilian version of the programme traditionally airing three evenings per week in January.
Numerous viewers have expressed bewilderment after discovering the finale will not be screened on Wednesday (November 5), flocking to X to voice their surprise.

@RyanJL added: "Sorry to everyone who thinks The Celebrity Traitors Final is on tonight. There's no episode today - just an extra 24 hours to wait #CelebrityTraitors".
@kateymania posted: "Me waiting for Thursday evening."
@MisterVivian commented: "No #CelebrityTraitors tonight. I still think there should have been one more murder and it should have been Joe. I have a feeling the faithfuls will win tomorrow night."
@el_chrisco noted: "Why do they make us wait this long."
The finale will instead air on Thursday evening (November 6) at 9pm, marking the first extended episode since the opening instalment. Instead of the usual 60-minute run time, the finale will be extended by an extra ten minutes to wrap up all remaining loose ends.
Following the revelation of the winner or winners by Claudia, The Celebrity Traitors: Uncloaked will air straight away on BBC Two at 10.10pm.
Hosted by Ed Gamble, the five finalists, including the victors, will delve into their final moments in the castle.
