Meghan Markle's birthday has come and gone with not a whisper from the Royal Family, which isn't all that surprising because it wasn't expected, but there are a few friends who were no-shows and have wished Meghan a happy birthday in the past.
Meghan is known to kick people out of her friend circle and not look back, but we have a feeling she would like to hold onto Beyoncé, Tyler Perry and Oprah Winfrey, who were nowhere to be found on the Duchess' big day.
And while it may not be hugely surprising that the A-list celebs didn't turn to social media to wish Meghan a birthday, as they may be busy, or could have sent her a private message, this hasn't always been the case.
In the past, all three media giants sent Meghan public birthday messages, with Beyoncé posting on her website in 2021, Tyler Perry posting a note in 2022, and Oprah Winfrey rounding out the birthday tour in 2023, but it seems like the public shout-outs have slowed down.
Possibly, it's just a natural progression, that people pull back on social media and it's nothing personal, and they could have easily sent the Duchess birthday messages via text or even a card in the mail.

It's also possible this was done on purpose, that Meghan asked to have a quiet birthday, including social media, with Prince Harry's trip to the UK coming up and Meghan being urged to keep quiet as not to throw the plans off.
It's pure speculation, but possibly Meghan saw the warning and asked friends and family to fly under the radar on her birthday as not to make a big thing of it and she's putting her husband first.
Harry is scheduled to return to the UK in September for the WellChild Awards, in which he is a patron, and while there, he hopes to meet with Charles.
Harry's reps and Charles' rep met last month in a public setting, which got people talking about a possible reconciliation in the making, with a number of people cheering for it to happen.
This is a big deal, for both Harry and the Royal Family, as the monarchy is revered for being adaptable and consistent.
