Good Morning Britain presenter Kate Garraway has opened up on being "brave" as she shared her children's latest antics. The widowed mum-of-two took to Instagram to post about the family's latest outing, but it's one that left her quaking in her boots.

The 58-year-old ITV star said that she was left "screaming in the best possible way" as she and her son, Billy, 16, visited a freight attraction. They had been to Shocktoberfest in Tulleys Farm as Kate shared her thoughts on the spooky attraction. Sharing a video to her social media account, where they could be heard squealing and laughing, Kate captioned it: "It takes alot to impress my 16 yr old & his mates but #tulleysfarm #shocktoberfest did so with bells on. 'Better than ever!' was the verdict. Serious. Screaming in the best possible way!!" She then added that she would be returning to the attraction very soon with her 19-year-old daughter, Darcey. The mum added: "I'm going with my 19 yr old next - if I'm brave enough!!!!"

Fans fully supported Kate as they said that they would be scared too. One said: "I'd be terrified and be really jumpy and it looks brilliant Kate x". Another added: "This is awesome Kate," while a third said: "Very scary but very fun!"

Kate has two children, Darcey and Billy, who are the children of her late husband, Derek Draper. She recently shared a tearful video from her car as summer came to an end and they began a new chapter in their lives.

Sitting in the driving seat of her car, Kate began: "What is it about kids? They never change, do they? They just manage to break your heart in a million different ways.

"I've sat here with a flash - or a cup - of tea with Derek on their first day of school, going to secondary and waiting outside for GCSE results as you are not allowed to go in with them to collect those.

"And now I am just dropping off for the first day of sixth form college, some distance from the school, but with enough of a vantage point to check they walk in. There is something about the walk in when you know they are anxious but trying to be strong that just gets me every time."

Kate tried to choke back her tears and clutched at her chest to allow herself to share the rest of her sentencing without sobbing.

"Anyway, I will be here having a further car picnic a bit later at pick up - again some distance from the school, hoping to see a walk out with a group of kids," Kate emotionally added.
