One of ' newer TV hosts erupted into a huge row on air with another guest over Britain's spiralling . The discussion between presenter and political commentator Fahima Mohamed became heated while on Michelle Dewberry's show. Ms Mohamed fumed at Labour for mimicking on dealing with the soaring immigration figures, after the prime minister announced he was going to "take back control" of our borders.
Mr Goodwin claimed that British voters say immigration is the country's number one issue, which is why Sir Keir Starmer released the White Paper last week. "You're acting as though Keir Starmer is speaking up for this mad, extreme fringe", he said. "Most people in this country want less immigration. It's not that hard to figure out."
However, the commentator hit back, claiming that he was "trying to talk for everyone when it's not the case".
She said: "Everywhere else, they do not only mention immigration, there's much more.
"It's the only rhetoric I hear from people like yourself and I am not calling you far-right or anything like that but we have to do so much to get this country back in order.
"It's not just immigration. Immigration is not going to erase any of the economics or the issues there."
Mr Goodwin responded to these claims, saying that "British people are saying they don't want to deal with this record breaking number of people".
"Many of whom are breaking our laws and it's the British people watching this show being asked to pay £15 billion over the next ten years, £5 million a day for hotels and accommodation," he added.
"You talk about economics, how about we take that £15 billion by fixing the migrant crisis and build 10 new hospitals for the British people?"
Ms Mohamed jumped in to defend the migrants who are waiting on their immigration status. "People are talking about it like it's the migrants' fault," she said, adding: "It's not just people coming here and all being criminals as you think. They're not arrested when they arrive because they seek refuge.

"Some aren't here for the right reasons but the majority are. You can't just put them all in the same stroke and brush them all under the same carpet. Be nice to everyone."
The pair continued to lock horns on the issue, with Mr Goodwin claiming his opposing guest failed to address what is fair for the British public. Ms Mohamed insisted that not everyone arriving in England is enjoying the benefits that the GB News host claims.
Mr Goodwin then accused Ms Mahomed of living in a "fantasy land" before she accused him of being hostile.
Small boat arrivals are nearly at 13,000 this year already, a record high since 2018 for the first five months of a year. On Monday alone, more than 600 migrants crossed the Channel, the same time as the prime minister revealed his plans to crackdown on immigration.
