Join the Treasure hunt for the bet365 Cambridgeshire. TREASURE TIME (3.40) comes into this historic Newmarket handicap fresher than most after just three starts this year.
His fourth behind Ebt’s Guard in the Shergar Cup Mile at Ascot last month was a decent effort considering he didn’t get a clear run. A wide draw had, previously, done for him at Glorious Goodwood but he had looked a likely candidate for this race last season. This 1m1f distance could be perfect. Have 1pt each-way at 20-1. Sky Bet is paying out on seven places.

Elsewhere on the card, the two-year-olds take centre stage in a brace of Group 1 contests but neither appear to be particularly strong.
FITZELLA (2.25) looks overpriced in the Tattersalls Sceptre Sessions Cheveley Park Stakes. Her all-the-way victory in the Group 3 Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot on King George day gives her an excellent chance.
The runner-up, Staya, was a little unlucky not to finish closer than third in York’s Lowther Stakes. That doesn’t give my fancy much ground to make up on hot favourite Royal Fixation and Newmarket’s Rowley Mile course should play to her strengths.
Fitzella went on to chase home top French prospect My Highness in a Deauville Group 2 contest over 7f last month. A prominent ride over this 6f won’t be a problem. Have 1pt each-way at 14-1.

The Tattersalls Middle Park Stakes has a similar shape to it and HILITANY (3.00) could easily be up to the job. He takes a huge jump in grade from novice races but he has been spectacular in winning his last two starts.
It was hard not to be impressed by his smooth Windsor success in July and he returned to the Thames-side track to make all the running three weeks ago. The form of those races might not be out of the ordinary but the manner of victory certainly was. Have 1pt each-way at 10-1.
TRILBY (2.40) tops the best bets on Haydock’s card. He’s become well weighted and ran much better than his final finishing position suggests when only beaten a length-and-a-quarter at Doncaster two weeks ago.
Unhelpful draws have not done him any favours on occasions this summer and he’s copped a much better stall on the stands’ side this time. A midsummer breathing operation also seems to have helped. Have 1pt each-way at 14-1. Most firms are going four places.
