Morgan Rogers has described scoring for England as a "dream come true" with the Aston Villa star on target in his country's 3-0 win over Wales. The 23-year-old was rewarded by Thomas Tuchel for his performance against Serbia last month with another start for the Three Lions.
Just three minutes into the international friendly, Rogers opened the scoring with a smart finish from close-range after Marc Guehi expertly kept the ball in play.
Club team-mate Ollie Watkins added a second moments later from just a few yards out after brilliant work from Rogers to get a cross into the box. The goal contributions for Villa players continued as Ezri Konsa fed Bukayo Saka with the Arsenal man then a curling in a wonderful effort from the edge of the box.

Despite such an impressive first 45 minutes, Tuchel brutally called out those inside the national team stadium after the game.
Speaking to ITV Sport, he said: "We had one and a half training days to prepare against a well-trained team and we did very well. We could have been 5-0 up at half-time.
"We couldn't score the fourth and fifth ones. The stadium was silent. We didn't get any energy back from the stands. We did everything to win.
Asked whether he expected more from the fans, Tuchel added: "Yes. What more can you give in 20 minutes?
"We didn't let them escape. If you hear just Wales fans for half an hour, it's sad because the team deserved more support today."
With Watkins taken off at half-time after appearing to pick up an injury, Rogers and Saka were interviewed after the game with the former delivering a joyous verdict.
"Right at the top," he told ITV when asked where scoring for England ranks in his career. "It's a proud moment to do it at home too in a home nation derby. A dream come true.
"The quality of players we have with people here and not here, you can never be too comfortable, or else people will take your role."
Rogers is facing serious competition for his place with it likely that recent injuries to Cole Palmer and Jude Bellingham have helped him play significant minutes. To keep that duo out of the starting XI, Rogers will have to improve his club form.
With Villa enduring a tough start to the campaign, Rogers had failed to pick up a single goal contribution prior to the 3-1 win over Fulham where he rather flukely assisted Emiliano Buandia's strike. Seven days later, it was a far more intentional assist with his pass into Donyell Malen finished expertly.
Rogers' goal for England was his first of the campaign and he will be keen to continue that form this coming Tuesday in England's World Cup qualifier against Latvia.
