Emmerdale Aaron Dingle's chilling fate 'sealed' after cutting five word comment

Emmerdale fans fear they've 'rumbled' Aaron Dingle's fate, and it's not looking good. At the end of tonight's episode, John was seen in Aaron's hospital room - with fans fearing the worst as told an unconscious Aaron that it'd be best "if you never wake up."

As fans know, John has been holding Mackenzie Boyd captive in an underground bunker. found out that his husband Aaron had slept with his ex-husband, and John's brother, Robert Sugden.

Upon discovering Aaron's one-night fling with his ex-husband Robert Sugden, John became resolute to make Aaron "need" him.He spiked his drink, but left him alone after realising that Mack had escaped from the bunker.

As Aaron had another sip of the laced whiskey, he followed John into the woods seeking his help. Eventually, Aaron deciphered what John was up to and then discovered Mack's phone in his pocket.

In a shocking turn of events, John confessed his chilling crimes to Aaron before they both plunged over the edge of a cliff. The dramatic scene unfolded after Robert tried to intervene, leading to a jealous John framing him for the incident. Robert was later arrested after being accused of attempted murder.

Meanwhile, Aaron and John were rushed to hospital, with Aaron now in an induced coma, mirroring the fate of John's ex-fiancé Aidan Moore, while John's injuries were less severe.

During Thursday's (September 11) hour-long episode, John woke up and was seen in Aaron's hospital room, sparking fears among fans that he might try to silence Aaron permanently.

One concerned viewer, shared their theory on Reddit: "John being conscious this ep makes me fairly certain that hes going to try to kill aaron in hospital. He's going to be out of hospital before aaron shows any signs of waking up- but when he does John's going to attempt to kill him like he was going to with Aidan.

"If Aaron wakes up, john's worst nightmares will happen," said another. "1, everyone finding out he's not a hero and actually murderous villain 2. everyone will realise that robert was right about him and he'll not go back to prison. This seems like the only reason they would give john such minimal injuries."

"John will be out of hospital in a couple of days. He'll finish Mack off, target Pathetic Paddy, and switch Aarron off...," a third predicted.

Another suggested: "If John does anything he's not going to make it look like murder. Maybe John will try to keep Aaron in a coma like Aiden. They are both in the same hospital right."

During the final scene, John could be heard saying to Aaron from his hospital bed: "How could this be happening again?

"I am not a bad person, this is not my fault. I loved you... you know? So much. I was even willing to forgive you. All you had to do is forget about Mack. We could've started again.

"A new life, just us. But not now, not anymore. You ruined everything. And now, we don't get our happy ever after. I'm sorry Aaron, so sorry.

"I still love you in spite of everything, but I think it's for the best if you never wake up."
