Britney Spears speaks out after authorities called over singer's 'dangerous' behaviour

Fans have now heard from following reports over her alleged behaviour on a plane earlier this week. A lengthy post has been issued through one of her accounts on social media.

It was reported yesterday that Britney, 43, "caused a big commotion" on her way from Cabo San Lucas in to Los Angeles in on Thursday. It was claimed that she lit a cigarette on board on a private jet, before putting it out upon the request of staff, and was met by "authorities" when they landed at (LAX).

, who reported the Toxic singer was "difficult" on the flight, added that LAX police said they did not respond. The outlet suggested that someone from Customs may have warned Britney over her alleged conduct upon landing instead.

Whilst a spokesperson for charter operator JetSuitX - which is known as JSX - told this week: "We have no comment regarding the alleged events described by TMZ." They added: "Please note that JSX is a public charter operator and not a private jet service nor an airline."

More recently, Britney now appears to have addressed the situation herself in a post on , which was uploaded just hours ago. It included a clip of the winner seemingly sat on board a plane, with her seen holding a bottle up to the camera whilst in her seat.

The caption read: "Me yesterday !!! It's actually incredibly funny !!! Some planes I've been on you can't smoke mostly but this one was different because the drink holders were on outside of seat !!! Confession it was my first time drinking VODKA!!! I swear I felt so SMART!!! I was like wow what the heck is in there !!! I felt so clear and smart !!!

"And said I want a cigarette so bad !!! My friend put it in my mouth and lit it up for me so I was like OH SO THIS IS A PLANE WHERE YOU CAN SMOKE !!! I do so apologize to anyone I offended but the flight attendants always make sure I'm way at the back of plane anyways!!!"

The post continued: "I thought officials greeted me as support and I was like WOW I feel special !!! I've never been to an international airport!!! Am I famous or something ??? The flight attendant called officials because I smoked a cigarette !!!

"And embarrass me which jeez I thought was kinda much but she didn't like me the moment I got on plane !!! Nobody was on the plane for first 20 minutes and she wouldn't let me get out of my seat I wanted to stand up !!!

"She acted so about making sure I sat down and it was weird !!! I didn't like the way she put the seatbelt on me and invaded my space !!! Oh well you guys like my flower choker ??? B tiny is coming soon and thats something we have added !!! It's honestly adorable !!"

The post comes following TMZ's article about the flight. It reported that sources said that whilst on board Britney started drinking before pulling out a cigarette. She's said to have then lit it and started smoking on the flight.

According to the outlet, the flight attendants were "alarmed" and "ordered" Britney to put out the cigarette. The singer is said to have complied with the request.

It was however claimed that she was "difficult". When the plane landed at LAX, she's said to have been met by "authorities" and "warned about her conduct," with her "then free to leave".
