All Points East has announced that superstar singer FKA twigs will headline the West Stage on Saturday 23 August, joining RAYE for her monumental All Points East headline show.
One of the most brilliant and visionary artists of her generation, twigs’ addition makes the female-led line-up even more special. twigs joins a masterful billing that includes a London-exclusive performance from Tyla, plus JADE, Jyoty, Nao, Montell Fish, Cat Burns and many more. This follows the announcement that Doechii will no longer be able to perform at the festival.
The announcement comes as she’s preparing to enter her next era with the release of her new album, EUSEXUA Afterglow. This follows her acclaimed third studio album EUSEXUA, which was released in January and hailed by Pitchfork as “a masterful pop-star moment for the artist.” During twigs’ recent summer European tour, she teased on stage: “New music – I am full and abundant and ready to give birth. Her name is ‘Afterglow’. And my labour shall commence next month.”

She also recently surprised fans by joining Rosé at BLACKPINK’s first ever Wembley Stadium show.
Last week, All Points East confirmed Doechii would no longer be performing on Saturday August 23. In a statement they said: "We’d like to apologise to any disappointed fans and hope to welcome Doechii to All Points East in the future.”
No explanation was given for the rapper pulling out and she is yet explain publicly why she is longer performing.
Doechii also pulled out of the Forwards Bristol festival the following day (August 24), which she was due to perform alongside Jorja Smith and The Last Dinner Party, with organisers again giving no reason as to why and a scheduled performance at Rock En Seine in Paris this Thursday (August 19).
