Aidan O'Brien has agreed with racing presenter Nick Luck that Ballydoyle's longshot in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe is the 'forgotten horse' in the line-up.
The trainer is set to send favourite Minnie Hauk (4-1 with William Hill) and Los Angeles (33-1) to France for the autumn highlight at Paris Longchamp.
And while Minnie Hauk has the best recent form, taking the English, Irish and Yorkshire Oaks this season, O'Brien believes Los Angeles is ready to run well after trialling for the race over course and distance.
"Los Angeles had made great progress from his last run," O'Brien said when quizzed by Racing TV presenter Nick Luck about the outsider's claims.

"If the ground gets soft it will bring him right into it. He's a big powerhouse that will plough through soft ground.
"The Arc was his plan all year. We went to Ascot because his runs had been so good up to then. It went a little bit wrong and he had a hard race so we had to back away and he was a little bit behind for his first run back at the Curragh, but we felt he came forward well from there to France the last day and he ran around the course.
"We felt he is going to move on again so hopefully this will run will be better. His work is very nice."
Los Angeles has won seven of his 14 career starts, a record which includes the 2023 Criterium de Saint-Cloud, 2024 Irish Derby and 2025 Tattersalls Gold Cup.

However the son of Camelot disappointed at Royal Ascot this year and is on the comeback trail following his fourth in the Prix Foy earlier this month.
Minnie Hauk meanwhile extended her unbeaten three-year-old campaign to four on the Knavesmire when accounting for Estrange under the currently sidelined Ryan Moore.
"We are very happy with her," added O'Brien. "Everything has gone great, Christophe rode her in the week and Rachael rode her work this morning.
"Everything has so far gone according to plan but there is a few days to go still."
Delacroix, impressive in the Irish Champion Stakes, could round off his career at Ascot on October 18.
