A behind-the-scenes video of Bollywood actress Kiara Advani getting ready for her stunning MET Gala 2025 debut has surfaced on social media and it's not just about the glam. Soon after she made her grand debut at the prestigious fashion event, the now-viral video showed her getting ready for MET and opening up about her preparations.
In the candid clip, the mom-to-be is seen munching on a slice of pizza while surrounded by her glam squad. With a cheeky grin, she quips, "It's my MET diet," winning over fans with her relatability and sense of humour.
The video captures more than just a light-hearted moment. As Kiara steps into her custom black-and-gold gown designed by Gaurav Gupta, she takes a moment to admire herself in the mirror and says, "After a long time, I know this is my new body, but after a long time I'm feeling hot in this body."

Speaking about the MET Gala theme - Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, inspired by Black Dandies and Monica L Miller’s book Slaves to Fashion - Kiara admitted it was an educational experience.
"When I first heard about the theme, I had to do a lot of research as I didn’t know so much about Black Dandies," she shared in the video.
"A lot of credit goes to my designer Gaurav Gupta, as he really walked me through the theme. My brief to Gaurav was, 'This is the next phase of my life, and I want that to be part of the expression of this outfit.' I love the way the theme has been interpreted," the actress added.
Kiara’s MET Gala look, a dramatic black strapless gown with a gold breastplate symbolising motherhood, adorned with ghungroos and crystals, was praised for its emotional depth and cultural narrative.
The ensemble featured two hearts linked by a golden chain, representing a mother and child connected through an umbilical cord.
Kiara joined fellow Indian celebrities Priyanka Chopra, Shah Rukh Khan, Manish Malhotra and Diljit Dosanjh at this year's event.
