Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): NSUI leader Yash Nikhra was attacked with a knife by a minor boy from the Chandalbhata area. The incident happened near Shanti Nagar lane number four in Gohalpur police station area, leaving the victim fighting for his life.
According to reports, Yash had recently protested against a local troublemaker who was harassing traders in Chandalbhata. He had gone to the police station with the affected traders to demand action against the accused person's misbehaviour.
This protest angered the minor son of the accused, whose father is named Samudra. Around 11:30 pm last night, the boy suddenly attacked Yash from behind with a knife while he was present in the area.
The attack was extremely brutal. The attacker first stabbed Yash in the back, then made several deep cuts in his stomach. The wounds were so severe that Yash's intestines came out from his body.
Local people and Yash's family immediately rushed him to a private hospital where emergency surgery was performed during the night. Doctors say his condition remains critical and he is still struggling to survive.
The incident has created huge anger among NSUI and Congress workers. They are demanding strict action against the attacker from the local administration.
Police have registered an attempt to murder case against the minor accused. The investigation is currently ongoing to gather more details about the incident.
