'Jaise Salman Khan Ke Ghar Pe...': Abhinav Shukla Gets Death Threat From Asim Riaz's Fan Claiming To Be From Lawrence Bishnoi Gang

Actor Abhinav Shukla on Sunday received a death threat on social media from a fan of Bigg Boss 13 contestant and rapper Asim Riaz. The user claimed to belong to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and he threatened to spray bullets at Abhinav's residence, an incident similar to what happened at Salman Khan's house in 2024.

Abhinav took to his X handle on Sunday afternoon to share a screenshot of the message. The user, who went by the name Ankush Gupta, sent an abusive message to the actor in his Instagram DM. "Lawrence Bishnoi ka banda hoon. Tera address pata hai mere ko, aa jau kya Salman Khan ek ghar pe goli maara tha vaise tere bhi ghar aa kar goli maarunga ak47 se (sic)," a part of the message read.

The user also threatened to harm Abhinav's family members and shoot his guards, and said that he was aware of the actor's daily schedule.

"Last warning de raha hoon, Asim ko galat bolne ke Pehle tera naam par aa jayega thik hai. Lawrence Bishnoi jindabad, Lawrence Bishnoi bhai asim ke sath hai (sic)," the user wrote in the message.

The Silsila actor also shared a video of the user's profile, highlighting that he was from Chandigarh. Tagging the Punjab Police on X, Abhinav wrote, "DEATH THREATS to my family! @DGPPunjabPolice @PunjabPoliceInd @DgpChdPolice @ChdPol. Person seems to be from Chandigarh / Mohali. Please act firmly & promptly. To anyone who recognises the person plz report to @DGPPunjabPolice (sic)."

Abhinav later also shared a slew of hate comments and abusive messages received by wife Rubina Dilaik and him from Asim's fans, who threatened to harm the family.

For those unversed, Asim and Rubina were panelists on the fitness reality show, Battleground, and the two were time and again seen locking horns, primarily due to the former's aggressive behaviour. All hell broke loose when Asim questioned Rubina's presence on the show, and got into a major altercation with her.

Later, when Abhinav was asked about Asim's comment about his wife during an interactive session on social media, he had replied, "All jacked up muscle, no brain and bad attitude is not a sign of fitness (sic)."

Meanwhile, Asim has reportedly been kicked out of Battleground after another ugly spat with Rubina and Abhishek Malhan. While the makers have not issued an official statement yet, Asim tweeted on Sunday that he was not ousted from the show, but rather he was the one who "kicked the script" away.
