No rain alert has been issued for today
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued no rainfall alerts for the coastal regions, North Interior Karnataka, and South Interior Karnataka. However, scattered rainfall is expected in isolated areas of Karnataka. The Air Quality Index (AQI) is projected to be around 65, indicating satisfactory air quality in the city and its surrounding areas.
KSNDMC shared a weather report on X
Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X (formerly Twitter) for seven days and wrote, "Moderate rain and isolated heavy rain are likely in the coastal and Malnad districts of the state. Light rain and isolated moderate rain are likely in the interior districts."
Heavy rainfall is predicted in the upcoming days
The weather department has issued a yellow alert in coastal areas, North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. Heavy rainfall is predicted on June 3 and 4, and it will be accompanied by thunderstoms, lightning, and squall.
