Move aside Dubai, Noida is having its moment! A video of the Supernova Tower surrounded by dreamy monsoon clouds has gone viral, and social media users can’t stop calling it the “Bharat ka Burj Khalifa.”

The tower, with its glassy design and sky-high ambitions, looked extra fancy against the grey, moody backdrop of the monsoon. No filter needed, nature took care of the editing.

One X user, RV Vikas, shared the clip with a simple caption, “Supernova Towers, Noida.” And just like that, the internet went into overdrive.

Meanwhile, the Yamuna River has once again crossed the 207-metre mark, a rare sight, and not exactly the good kind. The swelling waters even reached Nigambodh Ghat, one of Delhi’s oldest cremation grounds, forcing a pause in operations.

So, is Noida the new Dubai?

Not quite. There may not be a desert, camels, or a luxury shopping district to match, but with the Supernova Tower standing tall amidst swirling clouds, Noida is definitely enjoying its five minutes of fame.

And for once, Delhiites and Noida folks seem united, at least in laughing over their very own “Bharat ka Burj Khalifa.”
