The 18th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set for an exciting finish as two teams, both looking for their first-ever title, face off in the final. Shreyas Iyer’s Punjab Kings (PBKS) will take on Rajat Patidar’s Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday.
This will be RCB’s fourth IPL final, while PBKS are playing their first final since 2014. Both teams are hoping to end years of disappointment and finally win the trophy.

Shreyas Iyer's family shares message for the team
Ahead of the big match, Punjab Kings shared an emotional video featuring Shreyas Iyer’s family. In the video, his mother and sister sent heartfelt wishes in full Punjabi spirit, starting with the phrase “Chardi Kala!” — which means staying positive and in high spirits.

Shreyas’ sister thanked the fans and shared her excitement:
“Thank you to all the Punjab fans for supporting us from the beginning. We’re really grateful. To the team – all the best for the final. We are very proud of each of you. Tomorrow is our day. Just go and win that trophy!”

The most touching moment came when Shreyas’ mother gave a powerful message:
“All the best, everyone. Bas jeetna hai.” (Just win it.)

Shreyas Iyer has been in great form this season. He has scored 603 runs in 16 matches, with a high strike rate of 175.80 and an average of 54.82. He has also hit six half-centuries.

Punjab Kings finished at the top of the table with 19 points. Although they lost to RCB in Qualifier 1, they made a strong comeback by beating Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2. Now, they are ready to face RCB again — this time, in the grand finale.
